These terms apply when you use this website or engage Circuitry for web design, hosting and care plans, or repair services. By requesting a quote or handing in a device, you accept these terms. South African law applies.
Prices shown on this site, including the online quote builder, are estimates. Your final price is confirmed in writing before any work begins, and no work starts until you have accepted it. Confirmed quotes are valid for 30 days. Payment terms (including any deposit) are stated on your quote or invoice.
You are responsible for supplying the content for your website (text, images, logos) unless copywriting or logo design is included in your quote, and you confirm you have the right to use everything you supply. Build timelines start once we have your content. Each build includes reasonable rounds of revisions within the agreed scope; work beyond the scope is quoted separately. On full payment, ownership of the completed website transfers to you. Third-party costs such as domain registration renew directly with the relevant providers.
Hosting and care plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with one calendar month's written notice. Care-plan updates are small content changes (text, images, prices) and do not roll over between months; larger changes are quoted separately. If a plan is unpaid, we may suspend hosting after reasonable notice, and we will always give you a copy of your site on request.
Every repair starts with a free assessment and a written estimate; no chargeable work happens before you approve it. Please back up your data before handing in a device — while we take care, we cannot be responsible for data loss during repair. Repairs carry a workmanship warranty as stated on your invoice; the warranty does not cover new faults, physical damage or liquid damage occurring after collection. Devices not collected within 60 days of being ready, after reasonable attempts to reach you, may be treated as abandoned to cover costs.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act. Beyond that, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.
Content on this site is provided in good faith and may change without notice. The Circuitry name, logo and site design are our property. Portfolio work is shown with the relevant clients' knowledge.
