Circuitry ("we", "us") provides web design, website hosting and care plans, and computer repair services. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). You can reach us any time at ijaaz@circuitrytech.co.za.
This website does not have user accounts and does not store your information on a server of ours. When you use a form on this site — a quote request, repair booking or contact message — the details you type (such as your name, email address, phone number, device details and your message) are packaged into a message that opens in your own WhatsApp app, and are only sent to us when you press send there. If you email or phone us instead, we receive whatever you choose to share.
If you become a client, we additionally collect the information reasonably needed to do the work: business details and content for your website, or the device you hand in for repair.
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads. Messages you send us via WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy terms, and our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out the services you've asked for, invoice you, and keep in touch about your project or repair. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Correspondence lives in our WhatsApp and email accounts, which are protected by access controls. We keep client records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (such as tax records), after which they are deleted.
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to keep it. Email ijaaz@circuitrytech.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforeg.org.za).
Our services are aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
